Well, the difference is that they look younger :D

It's good to see how focused these two were even when young :)

Have just watch their game @ AVIVA Singapore Open SS
What's up with them, really? I am honestly concerned by their progress lately- SO, IO.. And the WC is coming up pretty soon.

Does Kido's knee injury play a huge role to their recent disappointment?

    Kindra's only win this yr..

..was at the 2009 BAC in Korea; other than that, they haven't tasted a SS title victory since November of last yr...And they've got less than 2 months to prepare for their MD WC title defense..

Exactly straight to the point. I heard about Markis Kido's injury, but it shouldn't have pushed them back that far, right? Bao Chunlai with his knee injury still managed to score good on the Singapore SS, why not Kindra?

thats indonesian's players typical..they dont have a strong will to win the game..too lazy to run after the shuttlecock..but i know, they have a good quality..maybe not strong enough mentally..we have to learn it from china n korea's players..look how they run after the shuttle..so sad to see their losts..

You need to watch 2007 WC Final match or 2008 Beijing Olympics Final.

INA style is quite different with CHN and KOR. Esp. look at Nova, Chandra, Taufik; they are great technicians, they can manage all kinds of shots with limited movement; on the contrary, due to their limited techniques, KOR and CHN should move a lot in the court.

Kido has a long problem with his knee and now it's got serious. You can't play like the past with this problem; even in top matches, very small problem makes very different result.

They did very well but the problem is the injury; many other players have retired due to the injuries. Don't need to say bad to Kindra. :)

If they're lazy or dont have strong will to win, how in the world did they win 2008 OG Gold, beating top pairs ? When it comes to injury, no matter how determined, if the legs cant carry on faster/longer, then that's it.

    yeah ...
I see in Aviva open BCL have knee injury but he can get MS title ...
I think Kindra's problem with their stamina too ,,,and their mental ...
If kindra play relax , I think they can get the MS title, right?

Kido's job is to be in the back hammering smashes down like a madman. If his knee doesn't work, he can't get it done. BCL doesnt' have to be jumpsmashing for his job as much though, so he can rely on other strategies.
