Hi guys. I recently noticed that i've been missing or mis hitting the shuttle very often. Can anyone help me with this. It'd be great if someone could provide me with a strategy.

Its all to do with your timing. It could be a number of things down to technique, grip, forearm strength etc. Its hard for us to tell.
need a little bit more information about you and your level of play before i can give some decent advice.

Im a late beginner and my previous racquet was a carlton powerblade superlite but ever since I changed to using a muscle power 30, i found that i was mis hiting more than usual. I'm gripping my racquet my coach taught me to (shaking hands with the racquet).

Well, as you've just changed rackets, mis-hits are going to happen. As you have a coach, they'll be able to notify you of any technique issues but other than that, just practise with the new racket and your timing should come back.
