    Hi there,

I'm contemplating the purchase of the Mizuno Wave Smash Wide or the Wave Smash SG2.

both are priced exactly the same in the Mizuno outlet in The Gardens Midvalley, so i'm torn between these two models.
Any users of these two shoes here can give some insights? are these good shoes? which is better?

    thanks in advance :)

There is one malaysian forum member here who purchased the Wave Smash Wide 2 from http://sohubuy.com for HKD 478 (after all the taxes and fees is approx. RM 250). If you want to get the best deal, maybe u can try the shoe size at MV and then buy on-line...just my suggestion :)

I am a Wave SG 2 user and i bought the shoe at the Mizuno shop in Mid Valley. I have 2 comments:

    1. Light weight and great cushion.
    2. A well built shoe that will last me for at least more than a year.

The wide version is for people who has wider feet who feels that the narrow shoes are uncomfortable. So it really depends on what suits you best.

Why not wear it during the 1st day of CNY itself since its a tradition to wear new stuff to celebrate the event.

ops i meant the 1st day of CNY, but for that day it's just for tradition wise! the new-clothes-new-shoes-new everything practice..
it's only after CNY do i have the chance to go on court and try it out.

Not only it got to be new. It has to be red as well.
You should have gotten red shoes instead. More auspicious......

I got the Mizuno Wave Tornado 5 and I absolutely LOVE the wave design... It absorbs the impacts really well and the grip is really good but I am coming from worn out cross trainers

Congrats on your purchase. I really like mizuno shoes. Shuttle-house has new models right now. But I'm still happy with my wave fang sp so far. :D
