My personal opinion is that the old AT700 and the Armortec 2003/2004 superbrands ltd edition (a better finish ed old AT700) are better. The new AT700 feels rather cheapy (it gives you a feeling that you are holding an iron rod) and much less tactile, although it has power.
What is it you don't understand? Perhaps let me try again. There are 4 versions of Yonex AT700. These are : 1. The original AT700 designated as an AT700 on the racquet 2. The Armortec 2003/2004 Superbrands Limited Edition. This is the same racquet as 1 above but in a different colour scheme, produced in limited qty and is better finished. Although it does not show the words AT700 on the racquet shaft, it is an AT700. 3. New AT700, with a new color scheme and probably new supply source of raw materials. The feel of this racquet is not tactile and you feel as if you are holding a crude iron rod, due to hmg from a different source than the original source. 4. The Beijing Olympics Limited Edition AT700, which is probably the same as 3 above but with a different colour scheme.
Yup! totally agree with it and i try to get one AT 700 and i like the smash power. In 21 point format especialy double players they will rather play offensive game and fast.
is the woven 10i , more heady heavy than the 700. If not , don't you think sotx should make a more headheavy racket than the 700 - i think a lot of people would buy it
I'd like Karakal to make something really light but really head heavy at stock, let's say 330mm+. That'd be awesome. Sort of like an MTec 70 but then heavier because there would be a load of lead added to the head. It'd be like what I do to my rackets but without the need for lead. A head heavy, truly extra stiff racket from Yonex wouldn't be bad either.
