MP99 is the similar to what?

    this summer, i'm planning on buying two maybe 3 more mp99's but before i do, i wanted to know what other yonex racquet is smiliar to it. any suggestions?

    I don't think there are any other YY that's stiff and even balanced like the MP99. The ATs are head heavy while the NS are head light. The closest I would say is the AT900T which some people describe as being even balance compared to the rest of the AT line.

    nah. the AT900 T is nothing like the MP99.

    Agree, buy more MP99 before it get phased out next year or the year after that. I got a news from Yonex that MP line is being phased out in 2 yr (may be 1 depend on model) in US. NS line is suppose to be the replacement, however, there might be a new line in 2 yr.

    others views may differ but imho the ns8000 would be feel similar to the mp99.

    i agree with you here, except ns8 is obviously a hella lot lighter than mp99 and the feel's nicer with the sfc

    i guess i'm gonna look into the ns8000 for now. if any other racquets come into this thread, i'll look into those too

    for now, i'm gonna stick to mp99's. when the time comes for me to change to a different racquet, i'll look into the other series

    from what i read here in the forums, the mp90 is the same as mp99. only difference is that japan uses different numbers for their racquets.

    Agree. IMHO AT800DE would be a good try and would be better than mp99. For me mp99 is a beast and demands a lot to tame it

    from the post in this thread, i've gotten two people going with the NS8000 and two people going with the AT800DEF. i'll just let the thread grow more and more until i decide on a replacement racquet. until then, i'm sticking with the MP99
