Yeah... It broke in the shaft at like the 10th shot. It was brand new... **** happens...
OMG, that's sad. How did it happen ? Does look like a big impact to me.
Good job! Now you are in the league with Sir DinkALot now. Time to get a new racquet.
nah... normal impact... i smashed the birdie on the frame and the shaft collapsed. the racket head just droped on the ground at my feet... really strange feeling lol... I still got 2 others though...
Wow, not a pretty sight. Maybe a sign that these rackets are not durable?
I dunno... I HOPE NOT... I LOVE them.
I dunno which apacs would be an equivalent to these... I really like em
wow....how long did u use the racket?? so evil >.<...lucky my racket stil look great =D
I already said it... like 15 seconds... it broke on the 10th shot of playing, brand new...
time to change man.....
my friend have similar accident with you using Apacs, but it just longer in period ( 10 days )........
The graphite must be the more brittle type. Good for strength and stiffness but bad for durability.
imo, just bad manufacturing/quality control. It is not if it broke but how it broke.
looks quite terrible. makes you question their QA standards...
You guys shouldn't question APACS' quality now that someone has posted a story of how fast their racket broke. You should know that a racket can break at any time and it only happened to break within the first ten shots in this case. It is just a matter of luck or lack thereof for ToxBad. I feel for you though, I hope my AMP 90 doesn't have to meet its death like this.
I had an AMP that broke very similar to this one. I played two rallies of less than 10 minutes each with it. I didn't do any hard shots at all because the grip wasn't done to my preference yet. It didn't hit the ground or clash. The frustrating part is I didn't even get to play a game with it.
The part that broke was roughly 3 to 4 cm down from the T-joint. I should have taken photos but the breakage didn't occur catastrophically. It felt funny and when I looked at it when sitting down I noticed the crack at the point mentioned winding downward. IMO, it looked like the wrap had a lamination problem.
can you make a claim ???? i think you can ....You are just so luck to pick the weakest of the Monster .....
my AMP90 used for 2~3 month..3 time break string....now the 4th time string in the shop....but lucky my racket stil look good =D...i think out of 10000 racket , there are maybe 20~30 racket may occurs this problem........nowaday everything quality keep going down because of the economic problem...even how branded thing may cause broke just in a short time...
i think u can get claim from them since u just used for 15 second =D
Seems like a nasty clash there
chongkiatz, 3rd time string snapped? May I know what string you use and what's the tension? Hopefully I don't face this prob of string snapping so frequent.
Yeah its okay. I talked with the shop owner and I will get it replaced. I glad bout that. But I wanted to show it in here to give you guys an idea of what could happen and how it could break. apacscanada doesnt have any amp95 left, I will have to wait for their next arrival in January. I could have get another racket from em, but i havent played enough of the others to see if there is one similar to the amp95. At least I still got 2 of them left.
maybe this means apacs racket cannot make it lol
What strings did you use?
