    My son was playing with this racquet when he clashed with mine. The Nanospeed 7000 this time broke. The last time he clashed with mine, he broke my Babolat X-Feel Power.

    My racquet (Babolat Satelite Brio) received a paint chip from this clash.

    Sorry about your loss ....
    What is the string tension on your Nanospeed 7000?

    Tension is fairly low - 23lbs - still, it causes the frame to distort a lot because that is now very weak.

    I have gone towards Babolat now. My current favourite is X-Feel Power, my second one, since my son hit my first one a few weeks ago and broke that one. Maybe I need a new partner, or maybe we should communicate more, or maybe just leave the shots for him.

    I think there is a moral in this story...

    Don't lend your rackets to your son:p

    @johnlowe88

    It is sad to hear that your NS7000 is broken. However, it is also nice to hear that you are playing badminton with your son. I suspect & believe that not many fathers have the luxury, to play one of his favorite sport together with his son, especially in this super busy era. Therefore, enjoy yourself, have a good time with your son, & hope you found a new racket soon.

    Thanks,

    Yes, while he is still young - he needs to use my racquets, until he finishes school and later on, university - finally to get a job, then he will be able to buy his own racquets, if he still wants to play badminton. Until then, yes, we are fortunate that he is willing to play with us.

    You can always turn it into a training racket. :)
