Looks like a nice facility, with a world-class coach. And Boston is a great city. But perhaps your Californian eyes will mist less with wistful reminiscence when you read their disclaimer at bottom-right of home page:;)
"Please be advised that Boston Badminton will be closed for walk-ins play when there is a snow storm. It will reopen 3 hours after the snow fall ends. "

    2011 Boston Invitational Team Tournament

Which team will triumph in the 2011 Boston Invitational Team Tournament? Come to Boston Badminton and watch the best players from the Northeast battle for the 2011 crown on Sept 17-18. Boston Metro will try to defend its 2010 championship as five other teams (Maugus from MA, two teams from NY, one team from DC/MD and one team from Canada) challenge them. Every year, this fun event is most anticipated by the top northeast players as it is well organized by USAB Tournament Director Chris Lawrence with BWF Referee Charlotte Ackerman.

Maugus Club wins 2011 Boston Invitational Team Championship

And the winner is Maugus Club led by Ajit Umrani and Andy Chong. CP Badminton Club of NY came in second and the Boston Metro Team placed third. The Boston Invitational Team Tournament brings together top northeast players for a weekend of fun and competition, thanks to Chris Lawrence and Charlotte Ackerman.

I visited the club over the holiday break (went twice) while visiting the in-laws.

All I gotta say it's the courts are AWESOME! Great people and I wish I could have stayed to play more but didn't want to leave my wife at the house for so long :)

If anyone remembers me I'm the guy from Ft. Lauderdale/Miami!

I wanted to win me a T-shirt to show the folks here but it wasn't meant to be :)
