And Cheung will forgive if the reply is somewhere along the lines of:

    1. I was too busy playing badminton
    2. I was experimenting new techniques which I'll pass on to you guys!

    Thanks guys!

    Hi!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I discovered this forum between 2 rallies at the University with my laptop... :D . Seriously, the discussions are really interesting and it's fun to see others perpectives from different countries. Also, people are sharing videos or tips they found on the net or by other players / coaches. That's awesome! Surely, I will improve my coaching by learning from you guys!

I hope I'll show new stuff here or just add a new perspective on some topics.

    See ya.

    Hey JRMTL!

Welcome to BF, coaches are always important in badminton forum. I checked your badminton website and it's really nice, I even reconized some players (I'm from Montreal too). I think I played Gentil and lost to him

    See yah,

Hey! It's nice to see some BFers from Montreal! Where do you mainly play? At Ahuntsic?

Yup, I am coaching Gentil. He has improved a lot this year. But, we are reducing the number of players on the team next year (from 25 to 20). So, I don't know if he will make the cut. But, we'll see at the training camp in September! Perhaps he'll beat A-players and will make a surprise!

Do you participate on the Senior circuit? If so, are you Elite, A, B or C?

    See ya!

I mainly play at Centre-claude-Robillard on Tuesday and Thursday, but sometimes go to ahunstic.

Oh yeah, I don't play in senior circuit so I don't know what type of player I am. Do you know how we can get in the circuit?

Sure. It is well organised. You have 8 tournaments + provincial championships. You pay for each tournament you want to play. The draws and the rankings are on the site.

You can go at this site: http://www.badmintonquebec.com . If you didn't play on the circuit, you should start as a C player.
