this just came out of Jakarta Post, Tony has decided <a target=_top href="http://www.thejakartapost.com/detailsports.asp?fileid=20020110.S01&irec=0">not to play</a> for Indonesia in the Thomas Cup.

Candra says, "The strength is more or less equal between all participants and there is no dominant power now." i believe that is a compliment to Tony's skills, yet also Candra being humble on Indo's MD power.

Tony will be leaving for the US on Jan 19 to meet up with Etty Tantri. love, how many times has an empire fallen just because of love?

so for the folks in the US, look for Tony sightings in the US. does anyone know where Etty is studying? i don't seem to be able to find this information anywhere.

Tony Gunawan is undoubtedly the best active men's doubles player in the world. With him goes Indonesias chances of bagging the TC.
