Why not just use a thicker grip handle? Or a thicker overgrip.

I need a higher bp.. my bp is around 280... I dont feel the head heaviness of the mx70... thats why I plan on using two thin overgrips to achieve a higher bp..

huh? you'll achieve even higher bp if you don't use any overgrip at all...

yup. the additional weight in the grip will reduce the bp of your mx70

^ so if you don't use any overgrips, the bp may be around 300mm...

It would be awkward playing with just holding the wood of the racket...

if you can deal with the hard feeling of the wood handle, just add electrical tape or something really thin i guess. or just add a thin overgrip on the wood but don't have any overlapping??

You could use an extra thick replacement grip and that should be lighter than an overgrip and the towel grip. I used to use two overgrips but I found that extra thick grips are more cushiony (is that a word) and more comfortable at around the same thickness, so I've been using slightly thicker replacement grips since.
