Im looking for a club to play near the inner west area...Looking to play at A grade level.
IN SYDNEY.Possibly near Petersham or near by.
The nearest place from Petersham are the courts at Dulwich Hill High School. You find a few A graders on Tues and Fri nights). That school is only 5-10 minutes from Petersham.
There is no A grade club in Sydney as the number of A grade players in Sydney is just only a handful of them. Most badminton clubs in Sydney cater to C graders.
A few A graders booked courts and train amongst themselves on Saturday arvo at Sydney Boys High, Moore Park. Otherwise check out the uni players at Sydney Uni at Camperdown in their club nights.
See how it goes and good luck.
I've been to the Sydney Uni club and still looking for more clubs to play.
As for the Dulwich High School club, what time do they play on Tues and Friday nights?
The time of play is 8.00pm. When you go there, you can introduce yourself to the the club's organisor Mr. Tony Fong. He should be able to fix you up with the club players.
Great club and there's a few good players. Thanks. Are you one of the players too?
Glad you enjoy your game there. No I don't play there as I live too far from the place....though I know some of the players and good old Tony Fong. I used to partner one of the good Dulwich Hill players where we played at UNSW on Tue nights around 1995 -98. 1994 was the time when I took the game up again after laying off for almost 15 years. It took me just 1 year to be good enough to play for UNSW in the inter varsity games hehehe
Hope you continue to enjoy your games at Dulwich Hill
