As predicted earlier by local medias, there's no surprise at XVII PON badminton team event. Top-four INA bdm force still concentrated in Java Island -- DKI Jakarta, West Java, East Java and Central Java.

I agree completely with this prediction by Sandy.
We should expect a DKI Jakarta vs Central Java finals in both the Men's team and Women's team...

In the Men's finals, DKI should have a 55% edge over Central Java due to the strength of their singles. While in the Women's finals, 50%-50% chance that the winner can go either way... All matches can go either way in the Women's matchup...

DKI Jakarta won Women's Team Final by beating West Java, 2 - 0

Meanwhile, Central Java is leading DKI by 1 - 0 after Simon Santoso lost to Andrea KT in straight sets.
Second match was between Joko Riyadi/Rendra Wijaya (DKI) and Rian Sukmawan/Yonathan SD (Central Java)
    15 - 21, 24 - 22, 18 - 19 (the live match ends here. Grrr!)

Central Java d Jakarta 3-0

the 3rd match, I guess Andreas Adityawarman d Tommy Sugiarto in 2 sets

The biggest upset is Andre d Simon

    so interesting matches
Rendra played against his club mates
also Simon, Joko against their province where they came from

But I believe they played seriously :)

Players who will compete in Olympic are not allowed to play in PON. I guess they need to focus on their training; also to prevent any injuries.
