The names of the shoes say it all: they're for WIDE FEET.

Those of us who have wide feet (me included) usually have the other toes at almost the same length as the big toe compared to tighter feet which have the toes more curved and rounded. That is why the illustration in the Yonex shoe catalogue shows the other toes all bunch up together with the big toe. The 4E Wide shoes also have a more rounded tip to fit all the toes and the big feet width inside.

Here's my side to side comparison between a 4E Wide shoe and a 3E normal shoe.

They are 4E width for wide feet. The shape is more squared (or rounded like above) than a normal shoe especialy for wide feet. Regular Yonex is 3E width
