hi all, I am new to badminton stringing and recently got myself a PP pioneer 6 stringing machine. The racket frame distorted at the 4 o'clock mark during the stringing process(4 knots stringing) at 11kg(roughly 24lbs). This happened when i started stringing the horizontal part of the racket. I stopped and cut away all the strings because I am afraid I might further damage the racket. The racket returned to its original shape and I noticed a small crack on the frame. I am not sure whether the crack was there before the stringing or during the stringing process. Is it possible that the racket cracked at 11kg tension or was the racket defect even before the stringing? On the other hand, is it safe if I restring the racket once more? I have also noticed a small problem during the stringing process. The racket frame tends to get smaller when i string the horizontal part. This means that the frame is not in contact with the support frame of the machine. Does that means I have to readjust the support frame during the stringing process? Or is this the reason why the racket frame distorts/cracks during the stringing process? Thank you.
