Good to see May/RI back in the fray. It was a good first tournament for her after the world
championship and reaching the semis at recent Denmark open shows her new level of consistency
    despite lacking match fitness.

EvenBetter, do gravity pull you back to earth. Losing to WYH is one thing, losing to WSX, suppose to be over the hill Chinese WS, it must be really hurt. Hope you learn the lesson, don,t jump too high.

The Thais are doing a China and avoiding RI and PB meeting in the WS final.
My view is PB who is in form will win the French open WS title.

Hope PB do well in the French Open. Welcome Thailand to the club with China is the only member. Thailand Prime Minister was in China recently and a deal had been signed trading rice and bullet train. So it is no surprised that Thais and Chinese are joining forces in badminton. Please don' forget to defend China in this Forum especially in the issue of walkover.

The word is that May is nursing a shoulder injury and that's she's only about 80-90% healthy right now. The main reason she's playing with the injury is to get enough points to qualify for the Superseries Finals.

Well, she's at the end of the most serious chase group. She's now in 12th spot and needs to earn just over 5000 more ranking points in Shanghai and Hong Kong than Porntip if she wants to qualify, more if Porntip wins today. Ahead of her in the chase, though, are Juliane Schenk, Wang Yihan, and Li Xuerui.

Anyways RI already bagged the big one this year, let her mate PB take FO and
enter SSF - PB needs her first SS win.
Next year RI will have so many things to go for and if she, PB and BO play their
cards right and impose themselves the right way, China and ROW WS will be
having their hands full overcoming the Thai tsunami.

Whaaa? "let Wang won" I don't understand why give the match away because it will be "not easy" to win. Surely few matches are easy. I don't understand.

The Thai coach has a rule - he dont want his players to play each other but open way
    for the other to progress.

Why would the Thai coach want to open way for others(chinese player)?? could they not at least give walkover to their fellow country woman if they wanted in the next round? I am lost.

Ratchanok's coach in CO is chinese coach, he knew chinese conspiracy ,he let May try her best in game 1 but hard luck to her to took this game so he said to RI " let Wang won in 2nd game " because her game and WSX win-lost in 2 game only in record and for save energy and power for HK ss.
In this year May met WSX at least 3 time as same as last year May met LXR 4 times but this year she found solution to play with LXR.
Let's see ,I think in HK SS semi final ,she will meet WSX again and I think her coach and May know way and solution to play with WSX.

if you read the thread, senior888 said, the reason that May gave WSX the second game easy was because the Thai coach has a rule - he doesn't want his players playing each other, but if that were the case why not just put WSX out, then May could concede the WO to Porntip in the next round. Better that way I would think.

Walkover is too obvious and disrepectful to the fans/organisors, only China
    dares to do so.
All other countries will not do walkovers unless genuine case.

RI is only 18 and she definitely still have not reach stability both mentally and
physically - she has no business winning the WS WC2013 but she did.
Just goes to show what raw talent can do, and with experience and maturity
and good coaching she will become the best over the next 2 years. Having
said that , I do think that the WS is becoming very competitive with minute
    difference deciding games.
