Central Sports, one of the biggest badminton retailers in the UK, have a repair service that they say can repair broken graphite rackets. They have a photo of a racket with the head completely smashed at the nine o'clock position, and an 'after' photo of the same racket looking brand new. Has anyone heard of this kind of repair? And is the racket any good afterwards? From what I know of racket manufacture, the graphite in the racket is rolled from large sheets into tiny rods at high temperature and bent into shape. I would have thought it would be impossible to repair it to the same strength after it breaks. All my friends have broken expensive Ti series and SwingPower series rackets, but none of them have tried getting one repaired before. Anyone out there tried it?
