Does anyone the difference between the two? (other than colour of course).

But in seriousness, the 86 LTD's are supposedly equivalent to the JP version of the shoes rather than the 86 EX's, which I think is a good thing on Yonex's part. Makes getting a LTD version more worth it for those who don't have access to JP shoes.
Yes they are sold in Japan as 86LTD as well so no point in keeping the different names when they are the same thing .... (as has been explained for the 85LTD's, 101LTD's, 102LTD's, 100LTD's, 99LTD's etc. etc. )
