Hi all asking on behalf of a collegue.. He's looking for a new racquet cos he broke his current one last week.

He's a very wristy with fast swing player. Is it better for him to get a racquet with flexible or stiff shaft?

It really depends , flexible rackets will easily exert power , but stiff rackets will exert more power than flexible wons , but will be harder to achieve. I saw an example somewhere on these forums. If you have to carry 10kg up a mountain , you can either carry 10 1kgs up and down , or 2 5kg's , just depends which one suits you.

I agree with krisss, players with slower swings are better with flexible rackets but people with faster swings should go for a stiffer racket for more power.
