In fact, Yip Pui Yin has a 2-1 record over Sung Ji Hyun and the WS match could also be a cracker!

Scores are still tight, with the lower-ranked Korean slightly ahead at 11-9.

Wong hasn't really got a good grip on this match. Looks a bit sluggish to me. Perhaps it's the Yonex T-shirt being a bit big for him

Not surprised Kim Ha Na broke down in tears, KOR players are known to be emotional, highly charged and fiercely patriotic.

Actually, both LDK and WWK are talented, promising MS, a bit difficult to predict the outcome. But LDK is certainly under pressure to even the score, can he handle it?

The Germans are a little too stiff. Needed to work hard for their pts. Maybe caused by too much shouting from their supporters.

Wong has difficulty outmanoevering Lee and it's showing by Wong giving points away by hitting shuttles out on occasion.

At last Wong hits a first smash to Lee's forehand and since it's the first smash there, Wong gets the point.

    Definitely Adidas racquet.

Germans go down - they were just too rigid at critical moments.

    Another upset today! TPE's WR150 Lu Ching Yao/Lai Chia Wen beat WR12 Michael Fuchs/Birgit Michels in 3 sets: 13-21, 22-20, 23-21.

TPE could actually emerge as group-winner with pts from Tai and Lee/Tsai!

If WWK can win this one, I think the rest of the KOR Team will crack under pressure and lose it.

Korea is back level - still everything to play for but the next match is theirs for the taking.

Domke's tall frame not helping him much. Unable to execute steep kills.
