    in total
    it was 14-23 for them against china ws
    which mean they at least won 2 times out of 5 when they face china ws

    for record,they are born on 1994(tai tzu ying) and 1995(ratchanok)
    they are even still eligible to play in wjc for 2012(tai) and 2012-2013(ratchanok)
    cant recall a better record of head to head against china ws at such a young age

    Hi limsy, i think Mia Audina has good head to head too with CHN WS.. :D I grab the data from TS only, please anyone correct me if i am wrong, the data from TS might not be that complete..so please give input:D:D

    1993 = Mia still 14, she beat He Tiantang, Ge Fei.
    1994 = Mia still 15, she beat Yan Yao,Zhang Ning,Jiang Sun.
    1995 = Mia still 16, she beat Ning Hu,Ye Zhaoying,Yaqiong Zeng,Wang Chen.
    1996 = Mia still 17, she beat Ye Zhaoying,Jian Cai,Wang Chen.

    Overall she beat CHN WS 12 times when she was 14 y.o to 17 y.o. I don't know whether all these CHN WS are the top WS in that time.. I was born in the year when INA won Uber Cup 1994 :D:p

    Mia Audina was certainly impressive in her younger years. She could have been WJC at 12 or 13 and was winning big matches (eg UC finals ) against China at 14. Certainly better than what Ratchanok or Tai are doing now.
    Unfortunately for her, she sort of 'peaked' before she hits 18. She never won any major titles (Olympics, WC, AE etc). I think China had her sussed out because she was playing too much and I felt that she had also burnt herself out. Same problems await Ratchanok or Tai I suspect. Their games have to evolve to counter and cope with the never-ending talent that's spilling out of China. Nevertheless it should be fascinating to watch.

    This is the problem with any badminton teen titans, peaking too early...Just hope Tzu Ying and Inthanon wont have to deal with it.

    So, the bottom line is that RI and TTY will not be able to dominate the frontline Chinese girls. No surprise there!! :D:D:D

    I think limsy, what you need to do is focus the stats on performances between peers, i.e. more towards the same age group. In this instance, I would propose 21 as the cut-off point.

    This is because by logical progression, RI and TTY should peak at around 22-25 year's age, by which time most of the current top CHN players will be in decline.

    So who will be their main rivals then? And how fast are those rivals improving?
