have i been wrong about TH before?( except for occassional PAWing which he failed me). Beside, i've said alot about lcw and LD too, and both Malaysia and china are just as far from canada. -Hands Down-
No.You haven't.In fact, his won in '04 olympic is predictable.True? You've never been wrong about him.
Sheessh.... His argument is the lack of strict training regimen in the Natl squad will cause TH to failed. Tony G and Candra W isn't exactly subjected to the Natl squad training regimen, yet they're still doing well. Still not clear enuff? Besides, its not like TH adheres strictly to the training regimen in Pelatnas.
If the badminton's world is evolving to what Krisna illustrated, then the BPF can be quite a powerful entity!!
Yooo guys, just want to share this link bellow. www.taufik-hidayat.com It's in english thoo. So everybody can understand.
When TH was in National team, TH sparred with Aditya and Nugroho Saputro as well as Hariawan/coach... As you may not know that TH seldom spars with Sony or Simon in National team...it was weird but true.. Now,..TH is sparring with Hariawan, W.Mahardi..also Flandy and Anggun Nugroho....
Same question from me... ..from the topic of Taufik going pro (independently) to sponsorships to tv revenues, i'm also trying to figure out what all the discussions abt sponsorships, Yonex etc. is all about?? can someone fill me in on this?.. Btw, this discussion could also be under the "How to popularize badminton" thread.. Btw, as far as i recall in the recent Beijing Olympics (and for that matter in the previous OG), i didn't see any Yonex logo being shown anywhere in the playing hall/around the court. As an example, the shuttlecock tubes were covered by somekind of a device, as to hide the logo.
Oops yeah I got carried away from talking about Taufik to talking about what's wrong with badminton sponsorships... I happen to think that playing outside the National Team is not such a bad idea and it is Taufik's right to choose so. Some other BC members think it is a bad idea for Taufik and bad for badminton etc.
Well I'm sure that Taufik will be delighted that his recent move has provoked such a philosophical discussion.
