A repeat of Wimbledon Men's Final, will Federer triumph over Murray two in a row at the AELTC?

Serena versus Maria should prove to be a riveting final. Shouldn't Maria be representing the U.S. of A. instead of mother Russia?

Yes the stake is to take golden slam as well, the 2nd women in history to do so after Steffi
    Graf

Why Maria represent US ??Because she lives in US ??

Maria always proud of her native country esp her hometown, Nyagan........so go figure.....

Not quite, a true golden slam is when one wins all four GSes plus an Olympic Gold in the same year.

Just saying because she is more American than she is Russian now, of course she is proud to be a Russian.

Serena already humiliates Masha 5-0 1st set...

    This is complete embarassment

What a demoralizing thrashing Maria got from Serena. Congrats to Serena completing a career golden slam.

We shall never know when the next true Golden Slam is ever going to happen again...until it happens!

Records are meant to be equaled or broken but perhaps it was a singular sporting achievement that can never be replicated? Afterall, tennis is not like athletics and aquatics.

So Lee Chong Wei can claim that he is the same as Roger Federer, never win an Olympic singles gold medal.

I think LCW should play mixed or men double to try to win a gold medal in 2016.

Andy made sure there is no repeat defeat from a month ago on the AELTC. Congratulations Andy! Now, he should be favourite coming into the US Open at Flushing.
