Which is the best drop weight stringing machine?
After taking a 15 years break from badminton and stringing world, my first come back stringing machine was a Silent Partner Hip Hop which cost around $380, as you can see from the pics, it has 6 point self centering mounting system and cone lock fixed clamp system, very solid machine for the money, but too bad Silent partner does not carry any machine nowadays. But try to see if you can get an used one from local buy & sell. As for now I am using a Gamma 6004 with Wise Head and have no complaints so far, so I would say Gamma X-6FC would be my choice if I have to start over and pick a drop weight machine again. If you don't care about having fixed clamps then Gamma X-6 would be cheaper or even Gamma X-2.
Too bad, Silent Partner no longer sells stringing machines.
I've only just found this thread, but for anyone else that does and is interested, your Silent Partner Hip Hop looks to be identical (except for the colour) to my Premium Stringer 3600. (That is still available/for sale!)
