I'm thinking about buying a Ti-10 from this guy online. He offered me $80 and says it has never been used. He also has 6 other yonex racquets that are high end and the price is only around $60-$80. My question is how would I be able to know if the Ti-10 is fake or not. What numbers should I be expecting to see on the serial code. (Its the purple Ti-10) Thanks.

Dangerous offer. There's no way to tell 100% from the serial code, you need to see it first. But for a Ti-10 that isn't outrageous, but it does sound too good. Personally I wouldn't trust it.

He says its never been used. I asked him for a picture of the serial code but he only told me that he got it in China and it was made in China. I might go to his house and see it for myself but how can I tell if it's fake or real?

middle to high end rackets are all made in Japan while as the low end rackets are made in Taiwan and I believe the some really low end models are now made in China.
