Tine baun is a wonderful player who possess height advantage with her. She should stop thinking of retiring immediately. There is no other player who posess such a kind of quality smashes with thundering power .

Her new high quality form is a result of her intense training. Its clearly visible in every shot of her. I am really amazed.. The way she outplayed Ratchanok in the rubber game was really an eye catchy.

Looking forward to her farewell match with Camilla martin.:)

There is this long Chinese article that pays tribute to Tine Baun after her AE win http://sports.qq.com/a/20130328/000665.htm

Besides commending her highly and touchingly on her AE'13 dream finale, her 3rd AE victory being described as hollywood-like, it also narrates her past exploits and heroics, esp how after Camilla Martin's retirement, she became CHN WS nightmare beginning with the times of Ye Zhaoying, Gong Zhichao, Gong Ruina,Zhou Mi and then through Zhang Ning and Xie Xingfang to Jiang Yanjiao, Zhu Lin, Lu Lan and now today's cohort Li Xuerui, Wang Yihan, Wang Xin and Wang Shixian.

She and Peter Gade alike are regarded by the badminton world as 'Evergreens'. The author detailed her rise and fall, her struggles against injuries and remarkable comebacks, her successes and failures, in particular her two Olympic attempts at Beijing 2008 and London 2012, etc, etc. Throughout the lengthy article, the author interspersed it with compliments and praises of her.

Sorry, it's too lengthy for me to attempt a translation with my very limited capability, so I'll humbly offer the following passage by the author:-

On the night of the All England 2013, Tine Baun once again realized her dream in dramatic fashion. After watching her farewell match, I expressed on Sina microblog my well-wishes to her:" Third AE triumph after 5 years, another round of perfection, the dream is not too late, just at the right time." A fan left me this message:" Winning a competition does not mean perfection". I responded to him thus:" The reason why I feel it's perfect is because Baun today was calm and confident, she controlled her emotions well which used to be her Achilles' heel as she was often criticized before. In the badminton world, nothing is absolutely perfect; to surpass oneself is perfection".
