Hehehe...maybe a birdies place is in the middle of mens leg, hehehehe... they must just do it for fun...fancy tricks but i dont think it will be effective enough in real games... but i never pull that kind of stunt, and it is very fun to watch really... I must admit those move are difficult...must be done by someone who has practice a lot...it's like the And1 from badminton...hehe
Thanks for sharing They must have practised those shots eveyday until they can do it I want to try the one when you hit it under your legs

I saw these videos a month or a few months ago. They were pretty good but I don't think you can use them in a real game lol.
I can hit one which goes over my shoulder (back turned) and I hit it back through my legs in matches. It works as no one really expects you to return it in that manner. Some of those shot's are amasing, would'nt it be great if the pro's played them now and again in major tournement's. You have to hand it to those guys for their dedication. Great link Adrian.
Nothing new in this video... I have already seen most of them. Search for "badminton showboat", I think these videos are much better... But all these trick shots are much easier to learn then a normal shot, if you really want to master the "normal" shot in all situations of a match... You try a trick shot 20 times and 19 times you miss the shuttle and you put shot number 20 on youtube... Not really impressive... But perhaps fun for 5 minutes...
Just watched the "badminton showboat" I did not find that as crazy as Adrian's link. What I did find really good was Peter Rasmussen's masterclass in the jump smash. The guy's hit's can be measured on the richter scale. Check the link out! http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIbGK0-iQGA
You guys should check out Chen Yu's fancy racket work. For those who watch Prince of Tennis, its pretty much what Eiji Kikumaru does.
Sorry link should have been www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIbGK0-iQGA For anyone trying to get tips on the jump smash this is a gooden.
hey does anyone now how to twist the racket around the middle finger like one of those guys did? im trying to do it right now with a extra racket and i can only manage 3-4 spins when it flys out off my finger :S anyone got a secret i dont know about?
No idea but make sure you don't use an expensive racquet . I was thinking exactly the same. Soon as I crack it I will holla.
humm used to do the spinning racket thing like 15+ yrs ago there is no trick.. just keep doing it till u get it besides some racket is easier to do then the other probaly head heavy one but hell, i'm not gonna try them again on my racket nowadays..
lol, yah im using a 4 year old iso 54 MF, my first Yonex to do this im doing it over my double bed to soo it allways lands softly on it, would suck to RIP a racket cuz i dropped it doing a trick, lol i wouldnt do it with my ns9000 even if i mastered the trick. but yah i will keep at it, im at about 5-7 spins now, getting easier
