University of Waterloo - Survival of the Fittest (Spring 2009) Tournament

    Hey guys,

    UWBC is having its tri-annual Survival of the Fittest (SOTF) tournament on July 25th, 2009.

    Important details are below:

    Date: Saturday, July 25th, 2009

    Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

    Sign-in Times:
    Men's Doubles: 8:55 AM – 9:15 AM
    Ladies' Doubles: 8:55 AM - 9:15 AM
    Mixed Doubles: 10:30 AM - 10:45 AM

    Location:
    Columbia Ice Field Gym (CIF)

    Cost:
    $5 for UWBC members, $20 for non-members
    Non-members need to fill out a waiver form

    Format:
    Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles: ABCD Flight
    Ladies' Doubles: Single Elimination

    Scoring System: 21 Point Rally

    Maximum Teams:
    Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles: 32 teams
    Ladies' Doubles: 8 teams

    Medals and prizes:
    Winners: medals and prizes
    Finalists: medals
    Draw prizes, snacks, drink, and lunch provided

    Yonex Mavis 350 birdies will be provided (Nylon). Teams can play with feather if both sides agree.

    Hey guys, there has been a minor correction:

    For non-members, it's $15 for one event or $20 for both events.
