Correct... if applied to the west coast. Toronto has a larger Asian population than Van I believe
Wang Lin withdrew

No I don't think Claudi-o would be a good pull. Let's go with Claudi-a ...
No Malaysian youngsters?
Why don't Malaysia send the youngsters here? Most countries are eagle to have their players collect more Olympic points except us?
And no Malaysians are going to the 2011 Russian Open (Jun 28-Jul 3) too.
I think the reason why Malaysia not sending their young players to play these tournaments mostly likely they want to stop them gain experiences and feed them to be only 'jaguh kampung', not 'jaguh dunia'...
They only want to send players to Super series and get bundled out early
Glad a BCer brought this to Panda's attention.
Panda will be a stringer at the U.S. Open this year.
Do you know how much a visa costs? Then add the flight and accommodation. I think this one is a bigger factor compared to other tournaments. And then if everybody else is there, what's the point? Let other people tire themselves out
Not only that...any people from Indonesia/Malaysia need a few months to apply theUS visa...not easy to say...
And also they don't feel like spending money to boost the players' confidence by sending them to tourneys with not so many big names...
NTM from VN also come to USA!
anyone know where the draw is? BWF website says it was to be conducted on the 28th.....but still nothing on their website
lee yong dae/ko sung hyun.. i want to see how this pair will play
