    G'day,

We are short of options here in Australia so all we get is Epsilon Green, Orange, Yellow, Red and Purple lable. Boo hoo.

Occassionally we get to use RSL silver. Yonex shuttles? Can't get them here! ;)

True, Australia is close to SE Asia but because badminton IS such a niche sport here we don't have a lot of options available in terms of equipment.

Like today - contacted the local racket shop up looking for a MP80 / MP90 - the reply was "The Yonex rep will be visiting us with the 2002 range around end of July."

    Great hey?:(

u get some great shuttles here with curious names! But then i would say that the yonex shuttles are the most consistent ones!I guess that is what makes yonex the market leader in equipment! others lack consistency!

I currently switched from RSL to Babolats. I use Start for trainings and Performance for matches. The Start shuttles are a bit unconsistent but exteremely durable. Since it costs cca 10Euro per dozen it is good choice for training.

YEah anyone heard of Epsilon shuttles? Epsilon must be a subsidary of some other company? They're probably most popular shuttle down here in Australia.

ayl. I've seen Yonex shuttles on sale at the Albert Park store, last time I went(damn expensive though). Epsilon seem to be decent (Green's) and the RSL silver feather's are ok also.

    Hi

I was told by a distributor that to make the shuttles more durable, store them in fridge when not playing. True??

Surprised nobody mention Sealion brand (Pink)! Very popular in Kuala Lumpur :)
    Yonex is too expensiveeeeeeee.

I have nearly always used RSL shuttles. Yonex shuttles always feel a tiny bit dead to me, and Ashaway are poor. Many clubs believe that by buying inferior shuttles that they are saving money...WRONG! Inferior shuttles break easily and end up costing much the same.

While I would never willingly play with a plastic they have their uses at beginner level. Coaches like them because they are durable and difficult to destroy. They also give beginners a lot of confidence. For this purpose Yonex are the best.

    Oh we can so

If you shop at say MSAC sure all you can get is Epsilon, but RSL is very common here, and you can get Yonex if you know where to look.

As for an MP90, haven't asked around yet, I'll see

    ayl, where's your 'local store?'

I don't have any local store that sells badminton racquets!

And MSAC has heaps of Epsilons, but i saw some Yonex there too.
