LYD/LHJ pair has lost to ZB/MJ since German Open, they have lost 3 times to ZB/MJ so far! What is the reason behind?? What happened actually?? Is it because their sponsor had change to Victor?? Victor doesn't bring luck to them :D Just joking, haha:D So, any opinion??:)

LYD/LHJ cannot smash, while Zheng Bo/Ma JIn smashed all the way to the victory. Zheng Bo/Ma JIn did pretty good on net also. LYD/LHJ can only grab sporadically points from ZB/MJ's unforced errors.

That's reason I raked Zheng B/MJ the best mixed double before the final. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67537

One explanation why LYD didn't do well in the past 3 weeks: He has a new, inexperienced partner in MD, which forced him to work much harder in MD, and therefore more exhausted and cannot survive the Chinese-style attack.

    Hmm..

..that's partly possible. Another reason could be ZB and MJ decided to unleash their wrath & disappointment, from last week's AE collapse, on their opponents.

LYD's at the burn-out stage and cannot cover for LHJ.Plus ZB/MJ know all about KOR game and rote trained for it.LYD/LHJ would take a while to know CHN play to defeat them. And Ma Jin's a gem!!!

The key to playing against Chinese pairs (MD and XD) is to be aggressive at the front-court and try not to give them chance to attack. There is no way LYD/LHJ (or LYD/JJS) can beat a Chinese pair using defence (the only pair that may try this is Nova/Natsir). Therefore, when LYD is tired or LHJ is not herself (or is herself if you know what I mean :D), they will surely be pounded to death.

Like XBall, the Chinese team has done a 64-bit analysis on LYD/LHJ after the OG, they have see-through every move of the Korean pairs.
And hint that's why the their lower-ranked KSH/HJE was able to pull an upset in AE against ZB/MJ, because they are not familiar faces to the Chinese team.

Isn't that true in doubles & to any other pairs??..

..yeah. But come to think of it, isn't that strategy or approach true and can be applicable to any other pair(s)?? Doubles always depend on who control the net/front court. I mean, who wouldn't want to be the aggressor, esp. at the front court/net?? And Even if Nova & Lilyana may try a "defensive" approach, i don't think they prefer to be the ones being on the receiving end of those point blank/easy net kills, would they??..;)

It's interesting saying people keep saying they lost because Victor racquets suck. I think 2cents said the key point, LYD doesn't smash as hard as ZB. It's obvious LYD is better playing in front while playing MD. LYD just still needs to improve to because KDM's successor.
