I sense it's a little different this time. LD's lack of playing has really knocked him off kilter. It's like he having difficulty rediscovering his rhythm. Throw in questions about his desire and his aging body, and you can see why there is cause for concern.

Of course if he sweeps all before him (especially LCW), all doubts will be removed :D

yup it's true.. it's all depends on LD's ranking by august... recently, LD keep on dropping from 2nd to 5th.. i still hope LCW n LD will meet in the final... :)

Twice LCW lost to him, isn't it? Let's hope SDK goes in Lin Dan's way, then :D

I wonder if he has had enough time and practice to ramp up to his accustomed playing speed. It'll be a good gauge of where he is and what he needs to work on in the month leading to the TC.

I think I'm getting off topic

The World Championships event is 24 weeks away

    .
And then, the outcome of 2010 TC 1st before talking about the WC this year.

The TC is only 4 weeks away. But the WC is 24 weeks away. It's still a long wait for the WC after TC finished.

The fact is that LD seems to have lost his motivation for winning...
Perhaps if he sees Lcw winning so many titles he would have a motivation-recovery or something :D
