Interestingly, MS is represented by 2 IND players, WS by 2 JPN players, MD by 2 MAS pairs & WD by 2 CHN pairs. XD is the only discipline represented by 4 different countries.
yes,, interesting isn.t it. Fron the current results.it looks like China Junior are not so dominance compared to all the previous years. Big improvement for country like India in BS and Japan for GS. The Girls and Boys Singles categories are getting more interesting as there are actual WR for the YOG. Looks like there are no clear winners for the YOG. Even champion can be beaten. China is only very dominance in the WD. There are also a mark improvement in Europe especially Denmark and Germany. Russia is also coming up.
Perhaps this is because the Chinese do not believe in segregating players as juniors or seniors. When the BIG tournaments come, you will suddenly find some unknown Chinese players coming in and blowing away the ranked juniors and seniors of other countries. BTW this is nothing to say that other countries are not doing their bit. Actually, badminton is one game where I find people show loads of interest even when they get less recognition or money compared to other sports. And unlike, Table tennis, many countries are in position to challenge the Chinese/Indonesian might in Badminton. The best thing is Europeans once again trying to assert themselves. They may not play that well but they sure are a hell lot more organised and professional compared to any Asian countries.
too bad that they doesnt finish the game like how the start anyway all the best for mas md later gonna sleep now night
Viktor Axelsen is going to win MS and OW/YEW going to win MD I don't know why Axelsen was only ranked 5/8 he is U17 Euro champion.
Axelsen already lost to this guy in the team event. This is the U19 worlds so U17 euro champ has little meaning . Would be nice if he won it now already though Down 1 set ... I see Sai Praneeth is from August 10th 1992 ... and reigning Indian Junior Champ.
Ji Wook KANG beat Prannoy H.S 21-13 21-9 Kang looks impressive in both singles and doubles. What happened to the other BS semi? Misaki 17-21 22-20 18-16 Suo Di
no one say before that the china player is impressive in ajc 2010 so they arent impresive either here only the wd we havent able to breakthrough we might able to do so next year
