japan's first lady singles.
She does look like so old
What a pity that Japan has no more players who can bring back Japan to the top like in the era of Hiro Yuki.
That picture doesn't do her justice. Here's a better one and she's not old. She's only 28 (1976).
Wow, what a difference between the 2 pics!!!!
The second pic she looks 20 years younger than first pic
she was born 29 October 1976 .won 1998 Asia game's women singles title. She beat YeZhaoying and GongZhichao in that time.
Is she a beauty?
~Whoa~!!! Between those two pictures, is that even the same person?!
These 2 pictures make different. Camera 'fout' ?
She is the best Japan female player since Hiro Yuki who won Ladies Single Title in All England 1969, 1974, 1975 and 1977 and was runner-up in 1972.
Are you sure that's not her daughter? hehehe
wow......it's probably the same person.......
they wear the same ring on the same finger..........
the makeup came off of her in the first picture? LOL
i dunno, i don't think the differences in the two photos should be attributed to Yonekura's actual face as such...if you look at the rest of the photos you can clearly see the general texture and quality of the first pic is much worse than the second pic anyways
thats pretty old...
Someone please smear this kid across the court, preferably someone older than 28, you in Cheung since you're local?
Feeling a bit old aged are we Pecheur?
Bleh I'm probably not older than you are ayl (yes I'm under 28).
I just saw her in the world championship 03 final quarter video (thx to bigredl), and she looked way out of form, not that i know anything about it, but its almost like she gave up after the first game against Tjiptawan. Kinda wierd how she lost so many points on the drops and such. Also, from the video, she looks pretty tall, taller than me at least
i'm a big fan of Yonekura, like since 4 years ago. that's when i really got into the liking badminton scene. i still like her, and now it's the aviva open and on the 29th i saw her, she was just sitting next to me! she was with tadashi ohtsuka, kaori mori and eriko hirose. and she spilled her milo/coffee. i'm not quite sure. she is very pretty. and she's about 167cm. and do you all have any idea about her being attached? my friend thinks that she and tadashi has something going on.
From the second photo in the first page.. I thought she was Stephanie Sun Yanzi's sister...
does stephanie sun have a sister?
