All matches with the exception of Consolation Matches are run using the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rules of 21x3 rally point scoring system.     NO FREE t-shirt for registration received after March 1st, 2010. T-shirt quantities and sizes are ordered based on participants registered on/before the last day of registration.




    REGISTRATION RULES:
    • Player playing in Djr singles cannot play in other singles event

    • Player playing in Djr doubles cannot play in other doubles event
    • Participants are limited to 2 events per day unless approved by the Tournament Director.
    • Registration will be limited to ensure tournament is run smoothly.
      - All Singles and Doubles flights are limited to 32 Players / Teams
    • First registered and paid will be entered in the draw.
    • Yonex shuttlecocks are provided in limited basis:
      - A events : shuttlecocks are provided as needed
      - B/C/D/D-Jr Singles events : 2 for main & 1 for consolation
      - B/C/D/D-Jr Doubles events : 3 for main & 2 for consolation
      - Yonex shuttlecocks are available purchase during the tournament
    You MUST use our Online Registration to register for the tournament.

    Entry forms are required for EACH player in doubles team.
    • $30( B/C/D/Djr ) and $35( A ) for 1st event

    • ( includes FREE Tournament T-Shirt worth $20 for those register before March 1st, 2010 )
    • $15( B/C/D/Djr ) and $20( A ) for additional events

    Due to couple of issues beyond our control, we have decided to cancel the Bay Area Open Spring 2010 tournament. All players who have registered will receive email regarding cancellation of the tournament. All registration payments will be refunded by Sunday, March 7th, 2010. We are working to resolve these issues, and we apologize for any inconveniences. We look forward to see you in our next tournament.
