JC's superior fitness should give him the edge in G3, I feel....

Luckily SYQ close it out 21-19.

Shi Yuqi takes 2nd set. Good match so far. These two are the future of MS badminton.

Shi Yuqi's relative maturity may be the edge in the rubber set.

SYQ couldn't lunge for that x-ct drop from JC at the backline.

Nice one, Zhang Beiwen, taking G1, 21-16, to go in the lead.

SYQ didn't do a proper jump smash.

The rubber set littered with errors now. These youngsters need to work on their fitness.

SYQ got JC out of position and almost couldn't finish it off....the rally continues until JC hits long....

I sense that SYQ is going to lose on stamina...

Jonatan Christie used to jump smash quite a lot. Seems he's taken that out of his repertoire? Not sure why. Probably because he's not fit enough!

Shi Yuqi stronger towards the end. I feel like both players have another level, but their fitness was lacking.

Is JC simply injured or simply out of breath? There was no more swift, fast crisp netting anymore as soon as the match resumed after long injury delay

I predict SWH meeting LHI in the final here.

Almost inconceivable I was proven wrong on both counts.

Zhang Beiwen's victory over Akane is an upset to me.

Shi Yuqi , I thought he's finished at 9-13 down, his coming from behind win, looking tired and slow, is out of my expectation. Jonatan injured or something? That explains it, got to watch the full replay or from where I left off yesterday.
