I wonder if it is like a replacement for the 95 since it is 0.69mm as well......
i was told this is an improvement on the NBG98.
cool. If it is not too expensive, I will have new strings to try soon
yes! lots of new strings coming out this year.
nbg99, bg88, ns660ti, ns880, vs760!
guess it is money burning time again. new rackets , new strings. lol
NBG88 n BG99 are both 069mm
If you zoom in on the string performance rating meter, you will see that NBG99 has a "Control Rating" of 10/10, which is the same as the CBG100. It is mentioned where you got the info as a successor to the infamous BG88Ti.
In fact NBG99 is categorised under a new "Control Based string" group, similar to how BG65 is under Durability and BG80 is under Hard Hitter
It is priced similar to the NBG98 JP..
no idea, I don;t read japanese.
saw the info here. when I was googling info on the cab 50
The series color is Green. It is a new category of YY's string.
The current existing series are blue (repulsion), yellow (durability) and red (hitting sound)
From the ratings seems like it has 1 bar less than NBG98 for repulsion (Becomes 9) and 2 bars more to the max for control.
Might be time for me to email Winston again... *puts cap in hand.
That pics .... is that scanned from Yonex Catalogue 2012 ?
Where did you get it ?
can't see that picture in #12 anymore.
wow dude ... thanks for bumping this thread
I forgot that YY would release NBG99 in March 2012..
Everyone seems too busy in commenting in the upcoming Voltric ZF ... hehehehhe
Is it out? Anyone tested it yet?
YES!! It is now available in the market .... !!
I just received it today from Rakuten website
I feel so good today ... cant hardly wait to string it with my VTZF 4U/G5 ...
But I have to wait until the easter holiday....
Maybe u will be on cloud9 puffing Djarum instead while stringing this
No lah... everyone has their personal preference....
