I supposed Lin Dan wanted a firm, longer handshake and exchange a few words with LCW but the latter was in no mood for it, understandably.

Okay a brief summary for today's result. Top performing countries who have advanced to play in the quarterfinals

    1. China - 12 players
    2. Korea - 7 players
    3. Japan - 6 players
    4. Indonesia - 6 players

Of course Spain is the best because they only send in 1 player and that player is touted to reach the finals and win the gold medals. The rest of the countries I didn't write the results because they send in very few players. The top 4 performing countries send in a lot of player hence their chances of winning is higher. Countries who send in very few players have very little chance to win. Carolina Marin is the exceptional case.

Take for example Spain. Spain only send 1 player hence only that player will advance. Hence the results cannot be compared to China who send in a lot of players hence 12 have advanced to the quarterfinals. Hence how can 12 players from Spain advanced to the quarterfinals if they only send 1 player? So far Spain is the country with the best performance because they could only send 1 player for every tournament but that player have a chance to win the gold medal. That itself makes a lot of difference.

    Oww, that's a secret ...
Spain only 1 player in 1 caegory. Badminton has 5 category.
So, if we assume Spain the best, other countries must only count in their WS category too.

To become the best IMO, a country must send 1 player in each 5 category, then we see thei result.

In this case, Spain only send 1 player in 1 category, not apple to apple to considerating w/ other country.
