CL's patience paid off. He seems to find his way to confront LCW...

This won't be the first and only time Chen Long beat Lee CW post-OG from now onward.

Congrats to CL for winning the HKO. A half fit LCW lost and he didn't looked too disappointed. He didn't looked to be going all out, especially with the smashes.

Wang Yihan will want to prove the Olympic gold should be hers, equally for Li Xuerui to prove it's rightfully hers too.

Can go either way, WYH not fully fit while LXR not at her best yet after the Olympics.

Aiya, give him a break. The man just got back from active marital obligation:D. I don't think his conditioning is 100% yet, taking in consideration the very closed fought matches before reaching this final.

Ok back to WYH vs LXR!

Don't think he has a Western name. Should be Datuk Lee, if you prefer a name in front of the surname.

LCW's legs are still rubbery after his recent marriage. For the time being the runner-up's prize should be enough for him to go shopping with WMC.

in the after match interview, CL said he is here to learn and just got lucky in the final.
and he is hoping to do better in 2016 Rio.

a champion in the making if you ask me.
