    Maybe nanopreme would have made it too stiff for it's positioning. The price difference is not that big ...

    Look at the production date of the VT80 posted: December 25th 2010, introduction March 5th ... will check the records to see if there has been such a long gap before ;).

    Not familiar with Yonex's strategy regarding launch dates and actual delivery. Probably they've always made good margins. Strategically, they wanted their price tag to be similar to that of most brands but lower than Lining to recoup market share seized by Lining and Victor for the past year or two?

    Anyways, I just like to see the VT80, VT90 and VT100 in their full glory soon:cool:.

    Talking about recently, Yonex started with Arc 7 then it went all the way up to 10 and Arc Sabre. They also had their lower ends met.

    Depending how the next VTs come out (either higher numbered or lower numbered), it is at least guaranteed to be in the middle already, for sure:).

    How about a VT80, VT90, VT100, then VT Sabre (of course with a different technology and experimental head shape again just like Arc Sabre.) to top it off:)?

    It was sort of more a reference to it having been mentioned a lot of Voltrics were ready for launch (gone throguh the testing, etc.) but obviously it would have to be brought into the market in phases to avoid canibalism ... VT90 or whatever might very well be finished already but perhaps only introduced at the Japan Open somewhere in September.

    There are already two Made in Taiwan Voltrics: the 5 and 7.

    You probably meant the Slash instead of Saber (ArcSaber Z-Slash, ArcSaber 10, etc.)

    I wish they had followed the MP naming, Voltric 77, 88, etc.

    Haha, that would be a repeat of AT900P and AT900T;) this time armotec replaced by nanopreme (what do I know, maybe armortec is nanopreme or vice versa:D.) .

    Anyone who read the fineprint when they released it in Japan, got the info that it wasn't high-end.. Yonex calls it mid-end, You may call it low-end .-D

    Btw ordered an VT80 from shuttlehouse, but I do not have big expectations on it after yonex numerous failures to produce great rackets lately :)

    Sounds promising, I have it pre-ordered so I expect it quite soon. I am still worried about the shaft though.. YY seem to preffer to flexy shafts lately (probably to appeal more to recreational-players who may be the biggest conumer group of their most expensive rackets), but I will now ina few days I guess :)

    Mostly I am curious about the nanopreme qualities/properties.

    Approx. S$245++ (++ in case slight deviation of $1 - $2)

    Please approach the vendor yourself to confirm the price, I am not related to him.

    There are some 'idiotic' vendors who hide in the forum to collect information and always complained to Sunrise Singapore, placing Classic Sports in the spot.

    Thanks.
