Is that my eyes or something? How come I see the machine is really close to the wall? How you let the racket rotating without hitting the wall then?

you are right, it is very close to the wall.
I can still have 360 degree rotation, because there is a 2cm gap from the wall :D (at least for badminton racquet)

    Lol...

Well, when I set up my machine, I can only keep about 1cm gap between the racket handle and my belly. It's a result of big belly vs. short arm... :crying:

I bought mine from Watdon, and since you are in UK, then you may get from them as well because free shipping.

i don't believe we posted within 20mins of each other. :)

    here is my "WASE":

no custom mounting. i mounted the WISE directly on the horizontal bar. only had to drill a couple of hole and i used the original screws plus matching nuts.

i had to jack up the side mounts around 3mm to give 360 rotation clearance. i get around 1-2mm from the gripper to the shaft.

the gripper has no problem with bg80. not sure about thinner string. it can close all the way.

my gripper even takes 0.65mm (sotx ti65) without slipping (27lbs), the wise-gripper is awesome:p

Kwun, I have one question, you have raised the side-supports 3 mm, but doens't that mean your racketframe won't touch that black-padding at 12 and 6 'O clock?
I had a similar problem, it's pretty inconvenient mounting if you ask me...

well, it's not really a problem.... I had a hard time mounting it, but when your done it's completely supported, no need to worry.

I can't really see it on your photo, but my 12/6 supports were angled pretty sharply. (changed them now) So when I set my racket in and tightened the 12/6, i had to lift my frame up to get it into the side-supports, then tighten those...which was difficult, because I couldn't really line up my frame, because I couldn't fully tighten the 12/6...
    I guess I'm a bit clumsy

At this moment I have a tiny bar protruding from my 6o clock support helping me out :)

Anyway, congrats on getting a wise! :D

    Hi guys,
I'm about getting this Wise too, question regarding gripping problem.. so far I think DinkAlot and Mwesty having this issue and Dink adding another padding I believe. Kinda confused why some can't grip and other can grip  is there a different type of heads or need to specify its for badminton string?

badminton version: not that i know of.

mine grips very well without any extra padding. the thinnest string i have tried is 0.66mm. maybe Dink has a older version?

Nope no turn table brake. Brakes are convenient for a few reasons, and theyre usually not needed for badminton. The only racket I would say "needs" a brake to string well are the wilson O3 tennis rackets with their big gaps.

I have the older version. Maybe gripper replacement and a diablo are available from Herb Wise.
