Mod, what abt merging it?
Zhang Yawen ( 1 2 3 4) nibaxiang
ZYW & ZTT
omg, that's ztt?
yes, she is. Is it she too beatiful until you can't recognize her?
yea.. she looks a bit chubby on tv.....
Well... none of Ma Jin's fans were complaining she's chubby .. Nor were Polii's fans either....
best female doubles player...
she's talented, athletic and knows how to win the game...
for me, she's the "Lin Dan" in womens doubles...
Wasn't that supposed to be Yu Yang ?
Prefer ZYW anyway.
mj also in the same league
There are similar thread created before, hope moderator can merge this. Actually there are two more Zhang Yawen thread. Hope moderator can combine these.
Zhang Yawen is good no doubt. I like her enthusiasm on court and how she's so animated when she plays.
However I think crowning her as the best females doubles player is a little over the top. I think GL, ZYW, YW, and HS still have one over her.
Her victory celebration and current CO is very classic by tossing the crowd her racket.
maybe why porroy said yawen is LD, master of racket throwing, of WD lol
Dude, why did you even have to go there?
my honest observation is she can blend with different partners, and still win the finals, she can asked her partner to do what she wants to do inside the court. Try to observe her net plays. She's underated player. but, mental and physically, she's one tough lady!
i think she's one of the gems of Chinese women's doubles, although of course she's also a very good mixed doubles player. she's been through several partners and has been very versatile, as proven by the diff. titles she won with them. i won't be able to name all of her achievements but what comes to mind now are the ff:
w/ Wei Yili:
2007 All England
w/ Zhao TingTing
2009 All England
2009 World Championships
2008 Hongkong Open
2008 China Open
w/ Pan Pan
2009 Denmark Open
w/ Tian Qing
2009 China Open
good job! thats what im talkin abt...
