Default Advise for Choice of Racket

    Hi BC forumers

Would like to seek some advise for rackets.

I used MP Ltd previously but I struggle (in defence, backhand, net play and control etc) when playing doubles (which I play most of the time) and singles. Prior to the MP Lts, I was using Yonex ISO900 Swing Power Long SA and I don't face any of the above issues.

I changed to NS990 recently and I am enjoying my doubles game once again. Right now, I am thinking of getting a back up racket (60% for singles amd 40% doubles play). I would like to know if Arc 8DX will fits my requirements or are there other recomendations? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

I never used Li Ning before but my gut feel is that if the China National Players are using it, it can't be too bad. I saw a few threads on Li Ning models in the forum too. You can read them as reference.

rackets largely depends on what u want?

    flexible? Stiff?
    Head Light? Head Heavy?

    String Tension?

    Weight?
    Grip Size?

    alot takes into consideration

my suggestion is not to anyhow buy a racket, but to test n try on those who maybe yr frds or fellow mate is using now.
dun rush to buy and u end up selling. very high chance u lose alot of money even though it maybe new.

if u look a something with resale value. go for bigger n known brands n models, they have higher chances of being resold.

    Regards

Agreed with a|extan, it would really depend on what are your requirements.

@darkmagician: coming from an NS990 and the ratio (single/double) you're looking for, the 8DX would be a logical choice.

@precrime3 : I have switched from Yonex/Head racquets to Li-Ning ones, not the N-Series (too expensive), with great pleasure and improvement in my game. Quality is very good, in fact when in similar clashes in doubles I can definitely feel bad about my ArmorTecs when I have still to find where my Li-Nings racquet were touched !
More choice with Li-Ning and Kason.

No I did not. I was just admiring its beauty (before I figured it was fake) and when I came back to Alabama I knew it was fake. The yonex sticker was peeling. Yonex butt cap was wrong shade of green(too light) and it had the wrong design on the cap too. also I should have noticed the prices Was too good to be true. But I let my guard down
