    i've tried BG80P on my voltric 80 on 26lbs. the hard feel was excellent for me and the repulsion is amazing. just dont know how is BG80 compared to BG80P. a lot of people say that the BG80 is one of the best string ever, but i haven't tried it yet. should i switch to Bg80 or no? (now i am using VTZF)

    I just strung my racket for bg80 at 26 lbs, previously bg80P at 23. I'll get back to you on that in a few days.

    I've used BG80 For 5-7 years. Now I switched to BG80P.
    IMO, this string should not be named BG80.
    It's actually a mix of BG65 & BG80.

    Tension:
    The way BG80P hold tension is more like BG65. The first few days drops some tension, and then holds tension for a long time. Regular BG80 holds tension very well in 2 weeks & then become unplayable.
    If you don't play much, I think BG80P's performance will be more constant.

    Repulsion :
    No big difference.
    Within 1 week BG80 is a little better.
    1 week to 2 week=> equal performance
    more than 2 weeks => BG80 sucks

    Contrl:
    BG80P has more control due to more contact time with the shuttle.
    However, this have to be done with good technique.
    If you hit the shuttle without adding a little slice or flip, the control is poor.

    Power:
    Bg80P offers better power.

    Feel & Sound:
    Totally different. BG80P feel like a harder BG65 with vectran. It's not BG80.

    Conclusion :
    BG80P is actually a revolution version of BG65.
    BG65 with better repulsion and control would play exactly the same.
    I'm not saying BG80P is bad. BG80P's performance is at least on par or better than regular bg80. Just that it's too different to be named Bg80.

    After some hours of playing, I can't say I prefer one over the other. BG80P has a softer feel to it than the BG80. I can't really tell much a difference yet.

    Strung BG80P on my MX-60 @24lbs .. Repulsion wise is very good but BG66 Ultimax is better. Power wise is good too but I felt BG66 Ultimax travel the shuttle faster (Ultimax strung @26lbs)... The bad news BG80P snapped @24lbs in 3 weeks time (play only 2-3 hours a week) and on the other hand my ultimax @26lbs still not snapped after 6 weeks.. I prefer ultimax for the first couple of weeks after that it lost all it attribut ...BG80P is more consistent in all the attribute.. Sound wise I felt BG80P sounds low note boom ...ultimax sounds high note boom...

    I'm not sure about the guy above me, but I strung my bg80P at 23/25, playing 6-7 hours a week, didn't snap at all. Only reason why I changed 5 months is cause they wore out.

    BG80P is another string I've been eager to try, I have couple of sets waiting for a racquet to use it on. I'm not a fan of BG80 because I find it too hard, but I like the roughness, sound and repulsion.

    If BG80P is as people say it is, then with it being a little softer it might just be the right string for me.

    Played with BG80P for a couple hours, I found it to be a little dull compared to BG80. I actually strung BG80P at higher tension than BG80 so not sure why it felt more dulll.

    I'm sticking with BG80 now.

    i have put BG80P on my new N55II and it just felt almost the same as the victor VS850. Softer than BG80 everything else seem similar/same... I like it, it's a bit easier on my joints...
