Ive been playing badminton for a few months now. But I started having wrist problems when smashing and backhand clears. The pain goes away when im not playing, but it starts to hurt when i massaged it or when im playing. Can anyone tell me what is the reason for my injury and what can I do to heal it? (the injury occurs in the red circle)
too much usage of wrist work? Try less wrist work and more on the arms. Did you try putting on a firm wrist band? See a doctor is always recommended. Swim to relax the muscles.
any doctor or physhio should be able to advice. i think they will just give you some heated oitment to rub on it. where is lala land?
oooh.. oki.. u mean TCM doctor iszit? I'm fm Singapore.. lala land is my dream land.. hahaha.. i hav injure my rotary cuff.. seek tcm liao but no use.. rest for a month.. now bk again. guess its a permanent injure..
There's a dreamland in australia mate. u went there yet? lol. Just rest the wrist and use more arm swinging when you play. It should help to put less pressure on the wrist. I have not tried TCM tho. What I meant was western physio. Pain is a gift. lmao.
swimming is good for all kinds of injury actually. No impact whatsoever. That's what I did during those hey days. I have problems with knees, ankle, shoulder, neck, elbow and wrist. Now slowing down. Enjoy your swim. Don't knock on the wall during tumble turn ya. Need a coach to help you turn? lol
