Jwave Badminton Training Centre
Jwave is a training centre that provides structured badminton training for players of diverse age groups and level of play.
Formed by Ernest Seet and Vivian Lim, Jwave Badminton Training Centre aims to help competitive players improve their skills and game so as to enjoy badminton to a deeper level. We also want to assist beginners in acquiring new techniques and developing new interest and love for the sport.

Headed by Ernest Seet and Vivian Lim, Jwave Badminton Training Centre has helped many athletes improve their skills and deepen their understanding of badminton. With years of experience in training beginners, intermediate and advance players, Jwave provides comprehensive training programmes that are tailored to one’s skill level.
For those who are new in the sport, we will help you acquire proper techniques and aim to develop your interest and love for the sport. As for intermediate players, we want to advance your skills and improve your tactical awareness. With players who are already competent, we will look more in-depth into building multi dimensional physical fitness and ways to condition your body for competitive play.

Our centre believes that individuals can reach their fullest potential with the right environment and training methods. Hence, we strive to conduct classes with a small coach to student ratio to ensure that every trainee goes home learning something.
With Ernest Seet being a Sport Science undergraduate, we are able to constantly upgrade our training methods in accordance to new developments in the field. As such, we are able to provide effective training programmes for all our trainees. Let science revolutionize the way we train.

Using Li Ning E3000 electronic stringing machine, we string your racket at an affordable rate.

Jwave conducts regular sparring session for players who are looking for a place to play badminton. Feel free to join any of our sessions if you are feeling up for a competitive game, or simply to relieve stress!
Our sessions are held
Every Thursday: 8-10pm at Jurong East Sports & Recreation Centre
Every Saturday: 7-9pm at Huayi Secondary School ISH
$7 – Gentlemen
$5 - Ladies
Level of play
Intermediate to Advance players – If you are unsure of your level, don’t worry! Just come down for a trial and see if you are suitable.

Introduction of Coach Ernest Seet Wei En
Currently an undergraduate in NTU’s Sports Science and Management programme, Ernest is a coach with sound knowledge in areas such as physiology, biomechanics, anatomy, sports injuries, psychology and coaching. Since young, he has been a passionate badminton player. He started the sport in Primary school, clinching many awards and medals along the way. In 2013, he founded Jwave with Vivian to help other passionate players reach their potential. Ernest has since been coaching for 8 years. He is fully accredited and registered under National Registry of Coaches (NROC). Ernest believes in giving his best to all students and aspires to help every trainee enjoy badminton to a deeper level.

Introduction to Coach Vivian Lim
A fresh graduate from NUS, Vivian is now focusing on developing and mentoring youth athletes. Being trained in Classroom Pedagogy and Psychology, Vivian is capable of providing creative and organized lessons that would spur interest in young and rising athletes. Before finding Jwave, Vivian worked as an assistant coach at Raffles Girls Primary School. She has since acquired a sound knowledge on training beginners. By emphasizing good habits and proper technique, Vivian ensures that trainees have a good foundation before they progress to higher level. Vivian is also fully accredited and registered under National Registry of Coaches (NROC).
