Quality is just as expected for a SP version.
But at almost 50% cheaper than the JP version .... can't really complain i guess.

the SP coded (SUNR9231WG) just... argh... speechless...

YET... it was selling like hot cakes...
Guess local users here aim for the look more than the quality perhaps...

JP stuff isn't cheap but if you buy a lot of stuff...you get a discount. Do a group buy to get the discounts and split the shipping costs.

That sounds quite good .....

But do take note .... when i bought the 1201W for that price, it was inclusive of shipping from Japan by EMS and was delivered right to my doorstep.

For me, it's was a matter personal needs ......

In the beginning, my wife used to join me for regular games after our work.
So, in order to carry all our gear, i had to opt the 1202-kind of bags .... which was i why i used to own the BAG1102N.
But now that she has stopped playing due to work and studies, and i only had my gear to lug around to the office then to the courts ... the 1201W kind of bag suited me more.

Personally, i kind of prefer the handbag-style kind of badminton bag though .... it's more streamline, easier to carry around, and just roomy enough for all my personal gear.

Hi peeps, is it better to get the JP version online or from a retailer in japan? Going to tokyo in 3 week's time

Its just a matter of price difference bro ...... as long as you're sure the bag you get is, in fact, the JP version.

I would guess that buying it there and hand-carrying it back would be much cheaper than ordering online (no shipping costs involved).

But if you were going to Namba Osaka rather than Tokyo, you could just pop by Shuttlehouse and get it.
That way, confirm cheaper + confirm genuine JP !
