This is good for promoting Badminton . Hi Mathias, This is good for promoting Badminton. Wishing you and Joachim Persson Best of Luck at this 2011 World Championships. .
Doh! I'm only $983K. Back to the drawing board! It's a funny mental process making a team: One pores over the draw with utmost care before deciding the players to pick for the disciplines about which you're most passionate (eg MS, MD). But when it comes down to the discipline you know least well (eg WD), one contents oneself to pick any obscure Latin American/Eastern European player who can be bought with the remaining $17K.
there are $17K players as well?? Back to the drawing board . Actually already did, now have $3K left [Lindaweni FANETRI $15,552]
12 hours left before the transfer window closes! [Current Team Value: $998,552.00 Remaining Budget: $1,448.00 ; probably will revert back though]
I tried badmintonstar last year.. And honestly I dont really like the way it is constructed.. The basic way of getting a high score in the badmintonstar fantasy-game, is to pick "upsets".. upsets are given huge points and picking an "expensive" players is high-cost - low reward in points. So the game becomes more of trying to guess which weaker players "can get lucky"... It is impossible to pick a team based on even the unlikely but possible winners (the player cost will make it impossibkle to afford a decent team) so the team HAS to be constructed mostly with weaker players, and the "trick is to guess which of these weaker players that pulls one or two upsets..) Rather boring imop. And becomes 95% luck and 5% skill... /Twobeer
That is true (and accounted for ). Though some "upsets" aren't exactly rewarded with these values either Just reading about some more withdrawals which by chance I had just modified without knowing so no problem for me
Looked to see if there was any bargain for my remaining $17K. Upgraded a WS exactly that amount, so now I've $0.00 Don't expect to win, though: a) Several picks are sentimental rather than logical. b) Despite reasonable evidence to the contrary, there is a life outside of BC. No time to meticulously follow player stats.
Who? I don't have anyone of that value in the list other than the one I mentioned above. Had the same amount left (17K that is) and finished on what I had in post #12 Or is the AAA downfall in effect already in this timezone ?
Seeing as the transfer market is now shut. I will reveal my team MS: Lin Dan, Marc Zwiebler WS: Wang Yihan, Tai Tzu Ying MD: LYD, Bona Septano WD: Tian Qing, Marie Ropke XD: Chen Xu, Chris Adcock
I have pretty much sacrificed the WS and XD events but also have TTY and Adcock/Bankier and LYD + Tian Qing WD
