Malaysia has good WC coverage, as long as you subscribe to our Pay TV (Astro Sports Package) ....... everything for a price. But nothing beats being there live at the Arena.
as usual, in the US. zero. nada. nothing. but that's to be expected. we will be hooked onto the livestream. i hope it will be able to handle the load.
ye I would like to know if their is any coverage in the UK... BBC sport have said that they will have video highlights on their website for the first 3 rounds. I hope it is on TV, because I couldn't get transport to London
Same case to badminton fans in INA, Vision1 Sports (channel 300) will broadcast LIVE WC matches from day-1 (08th August) until finale. This exclusive LIVE program only for MNC group (Indovision, Top TV, OkeVision) pay-tv subscriber, complete schedule : http://www.indovision.tv/schedule But heard one of local free-to-air tv (MNCTV) will telecast WC too...
But TV2 Sport is also a subscription channel ... What is weak is nothing on eurosport either, even now it is in europe. But they will be showing summer skijumping very soon
. In Australia, the World Championships will not be shown on our TV at all. My internet connection is slow, therefore Live Streaming won't help much. :crying::crying::crying: .
As in the US, Canadians will be locked onto whatever livestream links available. I can't remember whether BWF will be streaming from the QF for this event. I hope it's earlier otherwise we'll be scouring the internet for other sources
I'm actually surprised that there is zero coverage scheduled in Korea this year. 2 years ago, we had 40min of the MD final, 3h late, but this year we've had a bit of Koreans-only coverage of the Sudirman Cup and of the All England and Indonesia Open, too. MBC apparently couldn't spare the broadcast hours after midnight even. My Internet connection is super-fast, but not to Malaysia, for some reason, so the Indonesia Open was a bust. I hope that somehow the WC stream can come from some other server this time.
Yes, that's what I mean. The Indonesia Open was unwatchable in Korea on the BWF's Youtube channel, though. At least 3 buffering interruptions per rally. I just hope it's smoother for me this week.
Take a vacation in Malaysia for one week. For HD TV, you can watch in drifit's house. For Normal TV, you can watch in my house.
Oops. Correction. MBC has 1h of coverage scheduled. MD R32 at 1AM Wednesday. Perhaps they are playing it by ear and picking and choosing once they find out if Korean players (or only Lee Yong Dae?) will be on the TV court. Definitely meant for fans of Korea, not fans of badminton.
