I have a few hand-me-down rackets since I was a kid and two of them was a Yonex Carbonex 1 & Carbonex 8 racket.
Have anyone heard or used Carbonex 1 before?

Out of curiosity, I googled and couldn't find any info about it. So if Carbonex 8 is the first according to what was on the net... then my Carbonex 1 is a fake? (i meant logically 1 should before 8, right) But it really is an authentic Yonex racket. Or was it known as a different model?

The numbers dont come in order I think the releases for Voltric were 70, 80, 5 and 7, and soon 60

the original corbonex series was in order... 8, 10, 15, 21... then things got confusing. Dont ever remember a vintage 1 before.
    I started with a blacken followed by a maroon 10. :)

oh then this is a surprise, my carbonex 1 is a full carbon graphite shaft racket not a wooden frame racket. Wow, i really wonder where this racket came from... oh maybe some additional info may help to identify it:
    - racket colour: shimmering blueish-black tone
    - there is a PBSI logo printed on the handle and on the racket bag it state as an official racket with the same logo on it.

I'm just a leisure player, never bought any rackets before [i meant the professional types. Besides the 2 Carbonex i had, the other two I gotten were sufficient for my family to play in a game of doubles :) ] so another question, do all rackets have that PBSI logo on it too?

can you post a photo of your carbonex 1?

PBSI logo is presence only on Yonex branded rackets bought in some parts of SE Asia.

Cab 1 is a Midd nineties mid-low grade racket

Kwun - I thought Cab7 was metallic brown racket from Early 80's?

Cab3 - def graphite shaft & wood head. Thickest graphite shaft i have even seen

Oh it look just like that without that erm green overgrip. Wow really found the same thing though its all the way in Germany. Haha
sorry even if i posted a picture of it, i doubt it will be helpful coz i really overused it in a bad way :p
Ah so my cabornex 1 is a simple racket but it does it job fine enough for me so i'm satisfied.

hmm its a mid-90s racket? but i got it in 1994 and its a hand-me-down from my family so could it be earlier? still odd that the numbers jumped when everyone else in carbonex is in running order.

anyway thank you everyone, at least i know my trusty racket is a original and some of its mystery is solved. its about to retire soon that why i got curious.

I don't think it will be much older than 1994...maybe 1 or 2 years maybe.

The cab 20 original is late 80's and the cab one with newer graphics is defintely in 90's

I assume it doesn't have a racket code?
